The largest integrated power company in India, Tata Power, initiates the Sustainable Agriculture Programme to train tribal farmers on sustainable farm practices.
Furthermore, over 950 tribal farmers learn agricultural practices in growing staple and cash crops that help them increase the profits of farm crops. Also, the agriculture programme offers vertical farming practices in courtyards to landless farmers.
Moreover, the said program will also promote a healthy lifestyle to farmers while earning more in agriculture as they would have access to home-grown crops.
