Farmers in Kiambu County of Kenya will benefit from the government’s program of providing free artificial insemination services to dairy farms.
Furthermore, this program will improve dairy breeds, improve the productivity of dairy farms, and increase the income of farmers. To also prevent the increasing quacks in the sector, 240 licensed private practitioners will perform 10,000 inseminations monthly.
As dairy farmers face problems on high-cost insemination, this initiative of the government will triggers growth in the dairy sector.
