Techshot Inc. and Tupperware Brands Corporation collaborate with NASA to launch an experiment that would help astronauts grow bigger plants in space.
Replacing seed bags, the passive orbital nutrient delivery system will make growing crops less expensive and has more water-holding capacity. Furthermore, it can provide air and water to crops without requiring additional power from energy sources.
Moreover, this project will also test the growing capabilities of crops in space.
