The Citiponics Farm company in Singapore built a 1,800-square-meter rooftop farm at HDB multi-storey car park in Ang Mo Kio Avenue to produce 25 different types of vegetables.
Furthermore, it will integrate the aqua organic system that uses pipes to continuously pump water and nutrients to the crops. Also, pebbles will serve as the soil of the plants such as nai bai, kai lan, and caixin.
Moreover, the company plans to hire elderly people to work on the farm and help students by providing internships.
This rooftop farm in Singapore will help reduce the carbon footprint of vegetables and bring opportunities for green technology.
