case studies on soil health
Case studies by the researchers from University of Minnesota are set to help farmers for soil improvement.

Three associations from the University of Minnesota released a set of case studies about soil health practices to help farmers learn new experiences.

Moreover, these will help farmers improve soil health and learn strategies and tips from experienced producers. Also, it will help new farmers learn about cover crops, livestock, and how to increase the fertility rate of the soil.

Some of the practices that it will provide are:

  • Keeping living roots in the soil.
  • Keeping the soil covered.
  • Using diverse crop rotations.
  • Reducing soil disturbance.
  • Livestock in farms.

Furthermore, these case studies are available online at z.umn.edu/SoilHealthCaseStudies.
