Conservation technologies help mitigate effects of climate change in India

India encourages the development of water and soil conservation technologies to mitigate climate change.

As India launch a national conference for farmers, the government calls out for scientists to develop water and soil conservation technologies to prevent the further impact of climate change in farming communities.

The help of soil and water conservation technologies, along with better crop management, would reduce the chances of soil erosion. If soil health is a priority, this would help sustain the traditional crops in the country.

Also, the government raised awareness of mitigating soil degradation due to erosion, acidification, flooding, salinity, and a lot more.
