To intensify crop diversification in the country, the Punjab Agricultural University will offer a college course for horticulture studies this year.
Moreover, this course will introduce students to fruit science, vegetable science, floriculture and landscaping, and forestry and natural resources. This will also help address the need to boost the environmental, economic, and health issues for better crop diversification ideas.
Furthermore, this separate course in horticulture will teach the students the art of planting while boosting the local economy.
