Farmers from the district of Yozgat, in Turkey, uses its geothermal resources to grow truss tomatoes and export it to Spain.
Furthermore, districts from Turkey have a lot of geothermal resources that help them in producing crops all-year-round. By building a geothermally-heated greenhouse, farmers can produce up to 50 to 60 tons of tomatoes each year.
Also, their farmers have certificates on “agriculture without soil” and are known for good agricultural practices.
