With this, the Department of Health and Social Care in the United Kingdom starts a project to develop a probiotic against diseases. Furthermore, it aims to reduce the threat of antibiotic-resistant pathogens in food animals and, even, human health.
Also, this probiotic would help reduce the cost spent on expensive poultry diseases.
