United Kingdom initiated a project that would develop a probiotic against poultry diseases.

Clostridium Perfringens is a disease that causes poultry farms destructions that takes around US$6 billion every year from farm income.

With this, the Department of Health and Social Care in the United Kingdom starts a project to develop a probiotic against diseases. Furthermore, it aims to reduce the threat of antibiotic-resistant pathogens in food animals and, even, human health.
