Researchers develop robots to boost farm product efficiency.

Researchers from the University of Clemson develop robots to boost the state’s food and fiber production. Working with the Clearpath Robotics, researchers also learn programs and hardware to better equip robots in agriculture.

Unmanned ground vehicles (UGV) with sensors can boost farm management efficiency. Moreover, it can perform daily agricultural activities such as spraying, monitoring, harvesting, and more. These machines allow farmers to boost production while cutting down the labor cost.

Furthermore, robots in farms also encourage farmers to keep productive as these addresses labor shortage in the state.
