Researchers found a way to turn back oil-contaminated back to soil fertility.

Researchers from Rice University developed a method that could eliminate oil contamination from soil to restore soil fertility.

The pyrolysis technique removes petroleum contaminants through heating of soil while keeping the oxygen out. Also, this process prevents the damage from the soil due to the increase in the level of temperature.
