The government of Tamil Nadu, in India, has mandated its farmers to run a soil test to improve crop yields and income.
After sharing success stories of soil tests, they also emphasized the transition to drip irrigation system since most areas lack in the water supply. Moreover, farmers will also undergo practices in poultry, dairy, and fish farming.
Lastly, this move forecasts a stable source of income for farmers and better yielding capability of soil.
