Farmers encourage to save water through new techniques.

To support the Water Efficient Technologies (WET) Center, the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board co-funds a new commercial water-saving techniques for agriculture.

The new commercial water-saving techniques aims to help soft fruit growers in irrigation and fertigation purposes. It is proven to reduce water and fertilizer use by up to 30% while maintaining crop yields capability.

Furthermore, the Precision Irrigation Package will also help manage bag-grown crops. This process would allow growers to spend very minimal time in monitoring their crops. Also, it would help them save money for any additional maintenance.
