A study in Australia shows a technology that could predict wheat yield two months before harvest time.
Researchers in Australia teamed up to make trials on various machine-learning methods and satellite data to develop a technology that predicts wheat harvest. Moreover, the study shows that climate and satellite dataset can provide 75% accuracy rate of wheat yield.
Furthermore, the results would improve Australia’s wheat harvest, boost the economy, and apply to different crops in the world.
